Indcan began in premium leather goods and equestrian products, building its early business around manufacturing, craftsmanship, and international trade. This gave the company its first experience working across products, suppliers, production, and global markets.
Over the next decade, the business developed long-term manufacturing relationships and learned the realities of global supply chains, from production and sourcing to importing, branding, and getting products into market. That experience became the foundation for everything Indcan would build later.
The business began moving beyond manufacturing and into consumer product development. Engineering and product design became a bigger part of the process, with a focus on creating products rather than simply producing them.
As COVID-19 shifted everyday life toward the home, consumer demand changed with it. We saw an opportunity to move deeper into household products and began expanding our consumer goods portfolio, launching products designed around the new realities of home living and e-commerce.
After building our consumer product portfolio, we launched our brands on Amazon Canada, giving us a direct connection to consumers and a new way to learn from real-world demand, feedback, and product performance.
Indcan expanded into the United States, Australia, and the Middle East, taking the business beyond its Canadian base. The expansion brought our products into new markets, new customer bases, and new commercial opportunities while continuing to grow our presence in e-commerce and distribution.
Today, Indcan is focused on growing its direct-to-consumer business while building partnerships with leading retail chains across Canada, the United States, Australia, and the Middle East. The goal is simple: put our products where people shop, build stronger relationships with the people who use them, and keep expanding into markets where we can create lasting demand.
